Archive Services

Undertaking hands-on practical archive work and making the items in the collections more accessible is also incredibly rewarding and worthwhile. Archive contracts have included providing a full report of the storage facilities and archive service provision, as well as hands-on appraisal and re-packaging of the Marine Biological Association archive (part of the NMBL) in Plymouth; helping prepare a strategy report for the Plymouth Catholic Diocese, and cataloguing a large collection of records for a private client in Ashburton. Whatever collection you have, whether paper, photographic, sound (records, CDs, etc), the principles are the same.

As a fully insured, qualified archivist with over 25 years experience, I can advise or undertake practical work for private individuals or organisations. Appraising, sorting, re-packaging and cataloguing your papers or other media, will save you time, space and, as a result, money.
